
Meet the Coaches

Jackie Eastwood
Coach
Jackie has been on the water since 1992 as a competitor taking part in Internationals, Commonwealth, World Cups and was in the qualifying squad for the Olympics. She now coaches novices to competition level and racing crews. Her J15 Girls quad from Chiswick Commnity School won a local regatta in 2024, their first win for 60 years.

Simon Hunt
Coach
Simon has been rowing since 2004 when he joined Parr’s Priory RC. He was captain there for 12 years and helped run their Learn to Row programme. Having more recently been rowing and coaching at Brentford Masters, he now joins us coaching crews from beginners to those preparing to race.

Ken Creighton
Coach
Ken is a British Rowing qualified coach. He started rowing in 1986 as a junior in Seattle. With his junior club, he won 3 US National Championships and was invited to the US Junior National Team camp. He went on to row for the University of California Berkeley where he was team Commodore. Ken has coached a range of abilities from Learn2Row to Race Crews on the Tideway for several years.

The Captain’s dogs who love riding on the front of the launch, chasing ducks and swimming in the river. They know nothing about rowing but enjoy hours of entertainment chasing balls along the beach at QBC.
